What is an APS score?

APS (Admission Point Score) is a system universities use to assess if you qualify for a program based on your matric marks.

Can I apply without Life Orientation?

Most universities include Life Orientation in APS calculation but give it fewer points. You still need it to pass NSC.

What if I fail one subject?

It depends on which subject and the university. Some may still accept you if core subjects are passed with high marks.

Can I apply with a Higher Certificate?

Yes! You can use a Higher Certificate to apply for a Diploma later. Many students upgrade this way.
